Our approach to the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus
RET relies on two decades of experience bridging humanitarian and developmental approaches, providing actions along the triple nexus of “humanitarian aid, peace-building and sustainable development”.
Since its inception in 2000, RET has been characterized as a provider of contextual tailor-made solutions, converging its actions to responding to protracted crises by preventing, preparing for and responding to those crises and conflicts. RET’s actions have also been complemented with sustainable long-term development interventions designed to build the self-reliance of communities and to end the need of external support; thus, meeting the requirements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s 2030).
We offer protection during emergencies and provide humanitarian aid in crises and conflicts.
Peace & Transitional Development
We lead stabilization operations in areas of conflicts and offer transitional development interventions in fragile contexts.
We catalyze positive change in stabilized communities and contribute to enhancing sustainable long-term development and social and economic well-being.
